Ondrej obtained his PhD in 2011 at the University of Defence in Hradec Kralove. The main aim of the thesis was to characterize non-reactivating effects of cholinesterase reactivators as the antidotes against organophosphorus poisoning. Currently, as a postdoctoral fellow at the Biomedical Research Center (BRC), University Hospital Hradec Kralove, is responsible development and testing of new therapeutics for Alzheimer's disease and organophosphorus poisoning. Besides the scientific activity, Ondrej is devoted to the students supervising, teaching and works as a deputy-chief at the BRC.
