Michaela obtained her Master degree in 2018 at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague. Main focus of her master thesis was the Enzyme kinetic evaluation of several potential inhibitors of certain human cysteine and serine proteases.
In 2023 she successfully finished her postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Military Health Sciences, University of Defence and obtained the doctoral degree from Medical microbiology. Within the topic of her dissertation thesis she was focused on antimicrobial susceptibility testing, especially on bacterial biofilm assays. Currently, as postdoctoral fellow at CBV, she continued the research work focused on antimicrobial susceptibility testing of new agents and the study of bacterial resistance.
