Jan received his PhD in 2012 from the University of Defence in Hradec Kralove. The main aim of his thesis was the preparation and testing of quaternary nitrogen compounds as a disinfectant and decontaminant agents. In the years 2012-2015 he got postdoc position at Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove. He dealt with preparation of the other compounds acting against microorganisms (disinfectants, antituberculotics). He currently acts at CBV as a postdoc and at the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Military Health Sciences, University of Defence as an assistant professor. He continues to prepare and test compounds with a disinfectant effect. Furthermore, he is currently directed on the preparation of potential radioprotective agents and the optimization of cholinesterase reactivators. He also deals with leading and teaching students.
