Dávid obtained his PhD in 2013 at the Faculty of Science Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The main aim of the thesis was stereocontrolled synthesis of advanced precursor for preparation of (+)-lactacystin. Currently, he is postdoctoral fellow at the Biomedical Research Center (BRC), University Hospital Hradec Kralove, where he dealt with the development of new drugs in the field of adjuvants, nanoparticles, antidotes for organophosphates poisoning, disinfectants and decontamination agents.
