Antidotes for treatment of nerve agent and organophosphorus pesticide poisonings.
This group in close cooperation with Faculty of Military Health sciences (University of Defence) and Faculty of Science (University of Hradec Kralove) is aimed at the development of novel prophylactics and treatment of poisonings caused by the nerve agents and organophsohorus pesticides. Recently, novel centrally active acetylcholinesterase (AChE) reactivators are developed. Novel centrally active inhibitors as nerve agent prophylactics are recently also investigated.
