Abstract:
The project is focused on excellent pre-application research in the field of medical applications, design and testing of new substances within the preclinical development of new drugs, socio-economic analyzes in the area of neurodegeneration and new diagnostic procedures using high-efficiency IT to evaluate modern imaging methods . Research intentions are based on the latest common results and use a multi-disciplinary approach.
The project is based on the cooperation of 3 institutions from the Hradec-Pardubice agglomeration (University of Hradec Králové - applicant and project coordinator, research institution, University of Pardubice - research partner with financial participation, University Hospital Hradec Králové - research and application partner with financial share) will use the potent IT technologies for cutting-edge research in medical applications.

Abstract:
The aim of the project is to support the commercialization of promising outstanding results with high application potential that have been invented in the University Hospital in the field of biomedicine. Intellectual property rights to the results that project plans to develop for commercialization are 100% owned by the applicant. Project logically builds on existing projects implemented in UH in the field of research and K&TT. Project is based on the experience, know-how and TT system designed by TT Centre (TTC) that manages and coordinates the IPR agenda and commercialization processes in UH.
Development of new disinfectants is the project individual activity. Basic evaluation for 40 yet untested substances will be conducted on selected pathogens of the genus Staphylococcus, Escherichia and Candida. On the basis of the results will be made 6 disinfectant formulation mixtures. Overall rating formulation will be carried out against selected nosocomial pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella sp., Candida albicans, C. glabrata, Aspergillus fumigatus and Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Assessed the in vitro effect of disinfection (bouillon microdilution technique, determination microbicidal effect according to EN 1040). It will set the value of MIC and MLC and the FIC index.
