A system of sensors placed under the mattress of the pregnant women was developed. The data obtained from the sensors were compared with the actograms of pregnant women (fetal movement activity records) obtained by the CTG (cardiotocography). The graph shows a comparison of the output from the actogram (black curve indicating fetal movement activity) with calculated fetal movement activity detected by the sensors in the pad. In the calculated activity is then possible to determine a threshold value above which the fetal movement activity is considered relevant. Further development would consist in optimizing the parameters of the algorithm to determine present movement activity in order to improve basic characteristics of the method, sensitivity, resp. specificity, which is now 80%, resp. 60%.

Rehabilitation pad to be used as a physical therapy device for the lower limbs. The pad is used while the patient is laying in the bed and can be used to exercise one or both legs. The pad can be separate from the bed or integrated into the bed. The system may be active where the patient uses the power of their legs or a motor may be attached to the pad making the movement passive. The pad provides a simple and cost-effective solution for rehabilitation of the lower extremities.

Titan Wireless Implantable Hemodynamic Monitor - Stand-Alone Procedures is a sensor-based device intended for hemodynamic monitoring of pulmonary artery (PA) or left atrium during stand-alone procedures. It is designed to monitor the filling pressure, heart rate, rhythm and pressure waveforms of the left side of the heart. It is based on MEMS (Micro-Electromechanical Systems) Technology. It is delivered percutaneously via catheter-based techniques in either the pulmonary artery (PA) or left atrium during a stand-alone procedure. It helps to maintain a fine balance between improving cardiac output (blood flow pumped by a ventricle) and sustaining a reasonable left heart filling pressure.
