The center has many contacts among commercial establishments and continuously performs analyses of the needs relevant to the application sphere and takes them into account in the work of researchers, i.e. creating a functional communication channel between scientists and the commercial sphere.
Since 2012, six utility models, eight patent applications have been filed and registered under the center, one option contract and two license agreements have been signed. Starting in 2014, the center has annually announced an internal project competition called “proof of concept” which seeks to validate research and development results that have the potential to be applied in practice.
