Our research is oriented towards two directions. Drug delivery systems for vaccines and Small molecular immune potentiators. We have established cooperation with the National supercomputer center in Ostrava (IT4I). We
performed the Virtual High-throughput screening of 10 000 compouds by means of molecular docking of these compounds into the active spot of the TLR4 receptor. We have obtained 60 compounds with high calculated binding energy. We have verified the internal activity of some structures on the cell line. We are now performing modifications of the structure for the improvement of an internal activity.
We are developing drug-delivery nanovesicular systems for vaccines based on quaternary compounds prepared by the Organic synthesis group. The most stable of these systems has been evaluated in vivo in cooperation with
Immunology and immunotoxicology department of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava during November 2014. We are still in the evaluation phase of the in-vivo experiment now. This work was supported by Q-Nano SMU TAF-294 grant.
