Vojtech got his PhD in 2011 at the University of Defence, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. The focus of his work was related to finding novel potential markers associated with infectious and inflammatory complications in preterm birth patients. Currently, he continues his research as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Biomedical Research Center, University Hospital Hradec Kralove, where he is mainly focused in using quantitative proteomic workflows in clinically oriented research. He also continues his work on complexity reduction technologies, which could be applied during analyses of complex clinical samples.
